Hey everyone, long time no see! I’ve been insanely busy with school since starting to learn 3D. Since then I’ve been trying to cram everything I can in my brain about 3D and animation in general. Also I’ve taken a story boarding and animatic class, so my drawing has improved tremendously. The secret has just been doing it everyday, all day long. I’ve had to really focus and cut out all things that distract me from learning, so that’s why I haven’t posted much lately. I do however have some exciting things planned for the online world so check back later.
So about cats… There is this neighborhood cat that lives near my house. She is obviously owned, since she has a collar, but she stays outside. Well, let’s just say she’s the nicest and most sociable cat I’ve ever met. Lately I will come home and she’s near my house to greet me. Though, one night, I made the mistake of giving her a treat… now she constantly begs for more. She will sit outside the window and just meow for minutes.
Like a derailed train, school just keeps on going! I’m enjoying the ride. I plan on posting a ton of art near Thanksgiving. School is busy, but I love it!
My storyboard class has helped me learn to draw quick and clearly. The picture for this post is my new style I’ve learned this semester for story boarding. I don’t believe we only have one style, but rather a whole collection of styles we can learn that will suite each special project.
4am painting sketch. why? I don’t know. Maybe it’s lack of sleep, but I swear the chair was saying something to me. Something like, “Darks against lights, darks against lights, darks against lights, darks against lights, darks against lights, darks against lights, darks against lights, darks against lights…”
